"After installing his solar systems, Figueroa's electricity bills decreased from $327 per summer month to $164, a savings of about 50 percent. In the winter months, the amount declined from $175 to $48 per month.

A certified solar installer (Solar-Ray, Inc.) placed the panels on the back of Figueroa's house, which faces south. They require little to no maintenance. He finds they blend in with the roof and do not detract from the home's appearance."
